CHEQUERS
Whilst the footprint of this lovely house was substantial, it had been designed for the previous owners specific needs and its new family had found that the layout was not condusive to their lifestyle. Specifically the large but gloomy hallway, convoluted kitchen entrance and underdeveloped adjacent spaces on either side of the hall.
We created a new entrance to the kitchen with a direct view into the garden; reconfigured the kitchen and utility room to be more useable; created an broken-plan room off the hall with glass partitions to allow the light to flood in; and carved out a WC, study and internal corridor from a gloomy space to the front of the house making much better use of the area.
Alongside the structural work, we carried out full-service interior design for a number of rooms including the Principle Bedroom + En Suite (which we reconfigured to incorporate a walk-in wardrobe), Living Room, Hall, Kitchen + Utility Room, Garden Room and Family Bathroom.
